About the film
After being deeply shocked by the Delhi riots. The protagonist wants to avenge the ruckus caused by the rioters. But eventually ends up guilty when he finds himself all alone with his hateful and violent motive. The name of the film ‘Ashwathama’ is derived metaphorically from an ancient mythological character in the Mahabharata, an Indian epic. Ashwathama is known as a vengeful warrior and is said to be alive even today.
